Miss Asia has spent the last six years in primary classrooms across Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, most recently as Homeroom Teacher and Pastoral Lead for Year 5 at GEMS Westminster School. She teaches the full core curriculum, including maths and numeracy, to students from KG through Year 5, with a particular knack for turning abstract number concepts into something a seven or eight-year-old can actually hold onto. Her background in English Literature and B.ED shows up in how she teaches maths too, she gets students explaining their reasoning out loud, not just landing on the right answer. She’s currently working toward her NPQSL qualification.
